Lilia Vu won the Chevron Championship after a playoff win over Angel Yin on last hole to claim her first major title and first of the season. She fired a four under 68 on her final lap to take the clubhouse lead to 10 under, while England's Georgia Hall also scored a final round 68. World No. 3 Jin Young Ko finished the tournament five-under and seven-under, respectively. This year's tournament marked the first time the Major had been held at a location other than Mission Hills Country Club in California, where the winning golfers had a long tradition of jumping into Poppie’s Pond to celebrate.
